Elizabeth Laishley

After completing her art education at the Arts Academy in Munich, Germany and Trinity College in Dublin, Elizabeth continued her education with a Masters degree in Art Therapy. Since living in Canada, Elizabeth has taught art, painted extensively in Calgary and exhibited worldwide. Her major accomplishments were a series “Homage to Leonard Cohen, a collection of over 50 paintings interpreting the songs of Leonard Cohen onto canvas, which were published in a book and endorsed by L.C. himself. Another well publicised series was “The Masks of the Indigenous People” which consists of paper-mache masks sewn onto a painting.
