I’m a local artist who wants to share the spark of creativity and provide my community with joy, interaction and inspiration. My goal is the cultivation of creative exchange and curiosity, whether this takes place through community engagement projects or discussions, artist workshops, or in exhibitions. As a painter and a graduate in Sociology, my artistic practice is focused on themes of social discourse and cultural dialogue. I paint in oil and acrylic mediums on canvas, wood or paper of varying sizes. When painting, I am considering dynamic compositions – combining art with cultural and scientific disciplines. The state of the world, social norms, and human interactions are common themes throughout my work.
