Pop-up celebrations at Artpoint on September 10, 2022
11 am – 5pm
As part of Alberta Culture Days 2022, Artpoint Gallery & Studios Society and the Heritage Weavers & Spinners Guild of Calgary will be celebrating the wealth of talent and creativity that exists within our community with a day of pop-up events and activities, including:
- Art Exhibition
- Indigenous storytelling with artist Flora Johnson from the Mosakahiken Nation
- Violin performance by Francophone musician Jeremy Gignoux
- Community mural painting on Artpoint building
- Heritage spinning wheel demonstration
- Traditional cotton dyeing workshop with natural materials
- Snacks & beverages
